Conflicting Obligations under the Law of a Third Country Unofficial title
Compliance with a European Production Order could conflict with an obligation under the applicable law of a third country. To ensure comity in respect of the sovereign interests of third countries, to protect the individual concerned and to address conflicting obligations on service providers, this Regulation provides for a specific mechanism for judicial review where compliance with a European Production Order would prevent a service provider from complying with legal obligations deriving from the law of a third country.
